It has been brought to our attention that rumors have been spreading, suggesting that we shut down due to one of our staff being diagnosed with COVID-19. We feel that it is very important to clarify that is NOT TRUE. The Heritage & Eileen’s had to shut down strictly due to operational reasons. Our bar & restaurant, as well as many of our neighbors on McLean Avenue, have always been structured to target sit-down dining & drinking. No one can honestly say they anticipated a scenario where we would ever be forced to only serve takeout, and that is the truth. Part of our core competencies, aside from great food & service, has always been our cleanliness, and comfortable dining atmospheres. We take illness very seriously, and we would never let anyone work in our facilities if they exhibited obvious signs of any sickness. We want to take this opportunity to advise our customers and extended audience, to be very careful of where you get your news from. Bad rumors are very dangerous, and destructive for everyone. If we have something important to announce, we will announce it. If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to contact us. Please confirm your sources before you talk to anyone.
